This Privacy Policy explains how Dewas Dairy Manager ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the App. The App is a private business tool used by a dairy business to manage milk procurement from farmers, deliveries to customers, and related account records. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who this App is for

The App is intended for the dairy business owner, their authorized delivery/collection staff, and the dairy's customers. Accounts are created and managed by the dairy owner. The App is not intended for use by children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following information, which is entered by the dairy owner or staff (not by customers directly):

• Contact & identity information — full name, mobile phone number, and physical/delivery address of customers and milk vendors (farmers).
• Vendor details — optionally a date of birth and contract start date for milk vendors.
• Transaction & financial records — milk quantities, fat rates, delivery logs, outstanding balances, advances, and payment records (amount, date, and method such as Cash, UPI, or Bank Transfer). The App records these transactions for bookkeeping; it does not process or handle any actual payments.
• Account access credentials — a phone number and a numeric PIN or password used to sign in.

We do not collect location data, device identifiers for advertising, contacts, photos, or biometric data. The App contains no advertising and no third-party advertising trackers.

3. How we use the information

• To operate the dairy's day-to-day records: logging milk collection, deliveries, and customer/vendor balances.
• To let customers view their own delivery history and outstanding balance.
• To authenticate users and show each user only the data relevant to their role.

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making, and we do not sell your personal information to anyone.

4. Where your data is stored

Data is stored using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), a cloud database service provided by Google. Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and is encrypted at rest by Google's infrastructure. Google acts as our data-processing provider; see the Firebase Privacy and Security documentation for details.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share data only:

• With Google Firebase, solely to host and store the App's data on our behalf.
• If required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

6. Data retention

Business records are retained for as long as the dairy account is active or as needed for the dairy's bookkeeping and legal obligations. When a customer or vendor record is deleted by the owner, its associated data is removed from the active database.

7. Your rights and choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information held in the App. Because accounts are managed by the dairy owner, please direct requests to the dairy owner or to the contact address below. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable time. Users in India have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023; users elsewhere may have rights under applicable local law.

8. Data deletion requests

Accounts in the App are created and managed by the dairy owner. To request deletion of your account and associated personal data, contact the dairy that provides your service — you can reach them using the Call the Dairy button in the customer portal, or by contacting them directly — and quote the phone number associated with your record. Once verified, your personal data is removed from our active systems.

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and storage on Google's Firebase platform. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we continue to improve our safeguards over time. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal data, we will act in accordance with applicable law.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

11. Contact us
